Job Description

Andovar is a rapidly growing localization services provider offering a full range of language and communication services geared toward internationalizing products and services for multilingual markets. We are seeking to hire a QA specialist.This position is based in Andovars Indian office, located in Kolkata. We offer:

Andovar is part of the localization industry, so what youll be doing is working with translated content that has been adjusted and adapted from the original source material, the main aspect of the work is to check that everything looks and works properly in the new languages before its delivered to our clients. Some of the digital content we handle includes: computer games, PowerPoint presentations, websites, Digital Marketing Campaigns and eLearning courses.   • Bachelors degree required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and skills
  • Positive, can do and pleasant attitude to learn new things
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Occasional evening shift work may be required
  • Experience with software, technology, multimedia, gaming, eLearning, mobile apps would be considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of IT systems, desktop publishing software and multimedia would be an advantage
  • Proficiency with software testing / QA would be an advantage (SCORM Cloud, BugHerd, ProofHQ/Workfront, etc.)
