Job Description

TITLE QA&QC Lead REPORTS TO QA&QC Head LOCATION Sankrail, Kolkata KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for managingthe Quality Control & Assurance department of DBPLwhich includes quality development, updates, issues, customer complaints etc. via emails, telephone and reverting with corrective actions if needed, resolving their queries and minimalizing the issues to the lowest Compliance with plant procedures. Administer Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)programs & trainings. Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level Develops a QAQC team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.Determining the training needs and manages the teams job resultsManage team members performances by coaching, counseling, and disciplining them Responsible for directing objectives to maximize profitability. Writing management and technical reports. Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met. Setting customer service standards. Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and Quality Review quality trends, track root cause of quality failures, produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, coordinate corrective actions and verification of documents related to QAQC Working in coordination with Operations Department to establish Identify critical control points, specifications, standards, protocols and procedures for quality and food safety in the manufacturing processand implement developmental plans and trainings for production supervisors and factory workers Confirming quality as per invoice requirement. Quality approval of product if required before starting /during production such as metal detector calibration & validation records, etc. Responsible for issuing clearance if any discrepancy observed in lab reports received. Final claim settlement intimation. Procuring consumables and other utilities required for lab analysis, allergen analysis /cross verification if required. Handle all types of Quality Audits, such as Food safety ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005, FSSC, FSSAI, HALAL, HACCP, consumer audits, supplier audits,distributor audits, etc. Maintain audit reports and update the same as per requirement. Also share the information with the management Responsible for RM, PM and FG approvals as per quality specification, verification of lab reports as per the requirements, labeling for food products and ingredients, information, suggestion complaint box, nutritional information, legal requirements.Also reject materials /allot rework if product doesnt meet the set standards Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by HOD/ BU Head EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Bachelorof Technology in Food technology/ Microbiology Masters degree or equivalent would be a plus EXPERIENCE 6-8 years of Quality Assurance& Quality Control experiencein the Industrial Bakery domain (baked food items only) with Team management experience mandatory Extensive knowledge of various food safety & quality norms, regulations, licenses & certifications Solid understanding and handling of Quality Audits (Internal & External) and Stake Holders Proficient in use of ERP software SAP, M.S. Office Proactive and problem solver with leadership qualityand ability to work under pressure. 0% Nonconformity during audit and closing of Nonconformance if identified during audit and minimization of errors to negligible limits CTC Max up to7 LPA only **Male Candidates preferred ,
