JOB TITLE R&D Junior Executive REPORTS TO R&D Head Senior Manager LOCATION Sankrail, Kolkata KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Performs functions to facilitate the development of new products, and betterment of the current products or product line and formulae as requested by sales and marketing teams as per customers needs and demands Liaise with the marketing team forconcept development and ability to optimize concepts with marketing insights, liaise with the QA&QC department regarding customer complaints, issues or query resolutions or any other rectifications required for the concerned product and other departments such as store, purchase Coordinate with the Packaging department regarding packaging material, product handling packaging related issues,etc. Responsible for commercialization of new and reformulated products and successful transition from development to operations Possesses knowledge of the practical application of food processing systems to stay ahead of the curve in development, with primary focus on products research (quantitative and qualitative) Solving problems by using knowledge of design techniques, tools, involved in technical production plans, drawings, prints, models, and shelf life analysis Cultivates and fosters relationships with internal and external business vendors and technical partners.Providing 100% support and assistance to the internal and external stake holders Maintains high awareness of consumer and technical trends/developments in the food industryand their impact on business needs. Also update the management regarding the same Participate at customer conventions and meetings as appropriate. Prepare and present written and oral technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders Performs related responsibilities, as and when assigned by the R&D Head to define and influence products research methods and activities used for consumer understanding, product development, and qualification of projects EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Microbiology EXPERIENCE 2-3years of relevant work experience in the Industrial Bakery domain (baked food items only) Experience of developing and commercializing food products across a variety of product platforms and/or food processing technologies Excellent understanding of food science and technology principles, as well as translation into formulae Ability to taste and distinguish sensory characteristics of many different types of products Energetic, self-driven, results-oriented, and above all who has a positive can do outlook with a clear focus on deliverables CTC Up to 3 LPA ,
