RTG (Rubber Tire Gantry) Crane OperatorJob description / RoleJOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:Operates RTG Cranes for discharge and/or loading of tractor trailers within given safety a operational policies and procedures in the most efficient way possible.- Candidate should have 2 to 10 yrs work experience as RTG crane operatorControls and instruments :- Starting moving and stopping the RTG or stacker crane- Steering the RTG or stacking crane- Operation of hydraulic controls- Pre-use inspection and take over maintenance- Weight assessment- Handling laden and unladen Spreader- Stacking / de-stacking containers from Ground - Stack / Stack to Ground / Stack to Truck chassis / Flat carACCOUNTABILITY:1. Operates the equipment assigned to him in a safe manner to ensure all work procedures and safety codes are followed to prevent injury to all personnel a damage to equipment 2. Conducts regularly pre and post inspections of the RTG Crane and make sure that all abnormalities are reported to the CY Supervisor immediately. 3. Maintain the operators cabin and lifts in a clean and tidy condition at all times 4. Achieve operational efficiencies within the parameters of the equipments capacity 5.
