Global company with a world class reputation for safety and performanceCollaborative work environmentRole based in Salt Lake CityAbout the roleWe are looking for a Senior Engineer Integrated Planning to continue development and improvement of common planning tools and models for all time horizons; roll out these tools with the value stream sites for RTKC; and participation in the annual planning process.This role is a great opportunity to be part of the integration process for RTKC. Reporting to the Principal Advisor Planning , you will:Lead and coordinate work for integrated planning in the 14 day , 3 month , annual , and Life of Mine periods for the value stream (mine , concentrator , smelter , and refinery)Update and run planning model for the value streamSolve problems impacting value stream , taking into account highest value for the businessInterface and collaborate with other teams such as Marketing , Finance , Group Risk , Mine and Concentrator Planning , Smelter and Refinery Planning and Asset ManagementPerform as a credible technical resource across the value streamLead or participate in project teams to solve process or planning problems in order to optimize value for RTKCUtilize problem solving / project leading tools and soft skills to facilitate working sessions / training to develop and implement new tools to optimize value for the value streamAbout youTo be successfully considered for this role , you will have:B.S. degree in Mining , Metallurgical , Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant work experienceUnderstanding of planning processes5+ year of experience in mining or processingStrong commitment to driving safety cultureIt will also be beneficial if you have:Strong interpersonal skillsExperience with process modellingProject management skillsAbout usAs pioneers in mining and metals , we produce materials essential to human progress.Our long history is filled with firsts.
