Job Description

    *Job DescriptionAs a Staff Applications Engineer you will be part of onsemis Intelligent Sensing Group, Industrial and Consumer Solutions Division which provides imaging solutions for a broad range of applications including factory automation, inventory tacking, robotics, drones, security and video communications. In joining the world-class CMOS image sensor development team, you will help define, document and facilitate the integration of image sensors into customers products.Performance ObjectivesProvide in-depth product knowledge to Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) to aid their customers in the selection, evaluation and integration of onsemi image sensors into their products.Define demo system and reference design requirements, and develop product settings, documentation, training and other collateral to complement image sensors.Work closely with imaging hardware and firmware developers, customers and FAEs to optimize in-system image sensor performance.Capture, define and communicate requirements for new products - working with Marketing, Design and Technology teams throughout the entire life-cycle of those products.Validate image sensor performance with Product Engineering and Systems R&D teams., *RequirementsA Bachelors degree in Electronic, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent.A minimum of 3 years of related work experience.Working knowledge of digital, analog and mixed-signal circuit design (e.g. Logic, ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, etc. ).Working knowledge of solid state image sensors and device physics.Imaging system design or technical support experience.Knowledge of image capture, video standards, image processing and display technologies.
