Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely implementation of Data/Information policies and standards, including the benchmarking of policies and standards with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with security architecture and engineers, infrastructure and applications teams and vendors to identify innovative security operations and apply these solutions to advance DAH2 security posture. Also, active sourcing and analysis of intelligence sources to translate into action plans
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and risks including mitigating measures
  • Develop and ensure compliance to Production room standards and guidelines.
  • Timely reporting/escalating of risk events/significant incidents to DAH2 Management and RMG.
  • Collate, analyse, monitor and report KRIs, ensuring that proper action plans are established to address issues.
  • Maintain and manage audit/risk/control issues ensuring prompt completion of issues identified.
  • Review of access reports
  • Share audit findings and best practices and mitigate the risk of repeated findings.
  • Periodic assessment of End-user compliance such as AV, patches, encryption.
  • Ensure timely completion and validation of Risk- based Control Self- Assessment (RCSA)
  • Develop and conduct data/information training programs including the assessment of effectiveness of training programs.
  • Ensure timely submission of risk reports/ reporting metrics
  • Participate in the roll out of ORM and BCM policies, standards and programs, including assigned duties at Command Centre.
  • Provide advisory services (in consultation with Head BRISM Team) on data/information security matters
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in design and/or implementing data/information security solutions or technology audit in a bank, financial institution or software company. Experiences in the following would be preferred:
  • Network security practices including Intranet, Extranet and Internet access.
  • Major internet related technology and operations systems
  • Technical security solutions surrounding various technologies such as, but not limited IDS, IPS, anti-virus, content filtering, secure email solutions, network sniffing, log analysis, forensics and VPN.
  • Programming knowledge in Java/JSP or Python.
  • Good knowledge of data/information security operations and systems.
  • Good knowledge of risks and security vulnerabilities including mitigating measures.
  • Able to innovate, plan, organize, resolve problems and meet dead-lines/deliverables.
  • Able to work independently and be a team player
  • Able to operate MS Office and have presentation & facilitation skills.
  • Able to communicate well (both verbally & written) in English.
Education / Preferred Qualifications:Degree from a recognised University, preferably majoring in Information Technology.,
