Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job PurposeThe incumbent will support the Translational team for various immunology/Immuno-oncology (IO) projects and will be responsible for the execution of planned experiments with high quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of the assays using primary immune cells, tumor cells and cell lines for relevant endpoints (e.g. cytotoxicity, cytokine release, binding) with screening of the small or large molecules
  • Isolation and enrichment of human (and/or mouse) primary immune cells (T cells, B cells, NK cells, Macrophages etc).
  • The successful candidate will work extensively with primary/immune cells or iPSCs or CAR-Ts for T- cell activation; B-cell activation; Macrophage and other myeloid lineage cell based assays
  • Analysis, contemporaneous documentation and timely communication of compiled data.
  • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab safety
Educational Qualification:
  • M.Sc/M.Tech in Life sciences/Immunology/Cell biology
Technical/functional Skills:
  • Good experience in immunology particularly dealing with human or mouse primary T cells, B-cells, NK cells or Macrophages or neutrophils
  • Sound knowledge of Multi-color flow cytometry based immune phenotyping (highly preferred).
  • Experience with cell proliferation/cytotoxicity assays; cell based binding assays and/or
  • cytokine release assays (both intracellular and soluble formats) in 96-well or 384-well formats
  • Must have experience with different cancer cell lines of various origins.
  • Experience with other primary cells, ES cells/iPSCs is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience with transfection and/or transduction of Primary cells (T- cells) and cell lines.
  • Experience with Real time PCR, ELISA, Western blotting is desirable
  • Excellent attention to experimental details, data documentation and clear communication of compiled data to team members.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and ability to communicate effectively with high transparency is essential.
  • Computer proficiency including the use of spreadsheet and word processing software, such as GraphPad Prism; Microsoft Word,Excel and Power point.
Experience:
  • M.Sc or M.Tech or M.Pharm with 4-12 years post qualification

  • Ability to work with coworkers professionally.
  • General ability to thrive in a growing infrastructure and culture and also think out of box approach when troubleshooting and problem solving.
