Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Develop complex SQL queries to support data analysis automation , ad hoc data analysis , and BI reporting
Perform peer review and optimization of SQL queries to enhance performance and data quality
Design , create , review , and approve data architecture models supporting Business Operations data schemas
Manage GitHub repository for SQL queries , including supporting process documentation
Ensure data integrity and quality in database systems
Create and maintain data pipelines to support automation of key business functions to ensure optimal delivery of KPIs for operational oversight
Act as Subject Matter Expert for ECS database systems , including RedShift , Dynamo , and Aurora
Create and maintain end- to- end process to support AWS Spectrum data repositories
Perform data discovery and analysis to support investigations to help detect and resolve operational issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on database design reviews and to support resolution of technical issues
Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams including data and process flow diagrams , ER diagrams , etc.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science , Math , Engineering , Data Science , Finance or related field; advanced degree a plus
5+ years of strong hands- on SQL development
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and be a self- starter to provide deliverables within expected timeframe
Eager to learn new technologies
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work with cross- functional teams
Strong experience profiling data , including data discovery , cleansing , and analysis
Experience designing logical and physical data models
