Job Description

Heres what we look for. The more you meet, the better. You should:

  • Be very proficient inlinux,zsh/bash/similar,ssh,tmux/screen/similar, vim/emacs/similar
  • Be proficient in at least two programminglanguagesand eager to learn more
  • Know git. No, Not just source control.If you dont knowgit, youve dodged too much FOSS
  • Have used dockerand kubernetes
  • Be experienced with cloud orchestraton and configuration management
  • Know Continuous Integration and Deployment
  • Know of agile practices, scrum and kanban
  • Have a few years of commercial experience as a systems administrator,devopor developer
Infrastructure : -
  • Supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual cloud instances in Google Compute Platform (GCP)
  • Supports cloud servers including build, security configurations, patching, and
  • troubleshooting.
  • Stable Operations including backups, recovery, monitoring
  • Works with internal staff and 3rd party vendors to update and communicate
  • environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
  • Monitors and communicates system performance metrics and works with
  • internal staff and 3rd party vendors to resolve any issues
  • Works with teams across the globe to provide a 24x7 service
  • Participates in new project work
  • Excellent experience administering Linux servers
  • Strong experience in Ansible, Puppet or similar Release Orchestration tools
  • A passion for technology
