Designation: Senior Research Associate , Analytical Development Biologics Job Location: Bengaluru, India Reporting to: Research Scientist, Biopharmaceutical Development Job Grade: 9 Operating Unit: Biopharmaceuticals Department : Analytical Development Biologics The Company Syngene International Ltd. The Role Responsible for execution of Scientific experiments as per project requirement in an Analytical laboratory catering to large molecule process development. Analyse, interpret, and document the data. Discuss with Team Leader and other team members to decide action plans. Key Result Areas Role-specific:
• Provide the analytical support for process team developing monoclonal antibodies/ recombinant proteins.
• Execute experiments and collect data as per the instructions from supervisors/seniors.
• This role will require extensive working knowledge on techniques related to protein analysis viz., HPLC RP, SEC, CEX, peptide mapping, UPLC, SDS-PAGE, Protein quantitation, UV Spectrophotometry, CD, MALS, CAD, Capillary electrophoresis (CGE) and IEF.
• Will independently conduct experiments with minimum supervision and collect data and draft reports like method development, qualification, and method transfer to Quality control lab/client lab.
• Will be responsible for report preparation. The candidate should be well versed in English language and should be able to write technical documents.
• This role will Coordinate with QC for method transfer activities and complete the method transfer activity on time.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams to provide the analytical support as per project requirement.
• Should be a good team player and complete the activity on time within project timelines.
• Exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices and always follow EHS requirements in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
Education and Experience Education B.Tech/B.Pharm/M.Pharm/M.Tech/M.Sc with relevant experience Experience 3-6 years Functional or Technical skills Required
• Candidate must have worked in Analytical laboratory catering to large molecule process development.
• Should have strong experience in developing analytical methods for monoclonal antibodies/ recombinant proteins.
• Should be conversant with interpretation of analytical and process data (e.g., proteins).
• Proficient in handling of Chromatographic systems
• Possess good communication skills (written and oral Communication), Good at documentation skills (Report Preparation, SOP s, etc)
• Should be proficient in MS excel.
