Job Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance Web UI for a Java EE based enterprise Web application
Software development including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation review, feature demonstration, etc.
Evaluate third party (Java, JavaScript) libraries for use in the Web application
Stay abreast of latest trends/developments in the area of UI development by using online resources, visiting technology conferences, etc.
Identify latest UI trends/patterns that should be incorporated in the Web application and implement them
Share UI knowledge (tips, tricks, best practices) with team members
Research, prototype, and evaluate futuristic technologies that can be used in the Web application
Explore deployment of the Web application to mobile devices, smart phones in particular
Other job related duties as may be assigned by management from time to time
