You will also have the chance to influence and optimize efficiency and procedures in line with increasing empowerment of our vessels.Show More Key responsibilities- Reports to Chief Officer on all matters- Assist Chief Cook as and when required- Ensure all areas of responsibilities are kept clean, tidy, hygienic and well maintained- Galley dutiesAssist the Chief Cook:With the cleaning and hygiene of the galley.In the cleaning of all galley equipment.With the preparation of breakfast and dinner and catering of all meals - buffet style. - Mess dutiesSet tables and attend to all meals service in the dining saloonWashing up of meal crockery and utensils in the dining saloon and duty messAttend to port officials and receptions as required- Dining Saloon, Duty Mess and Store RoomClean the Dining Saloon, Duty Mess and Smoke Rooms dailyClean conference room when necessaryWax floor areas, and shampoo the carpet when neededClean and maintain fridges and water coolerClean ice cube machine weekly - Store dutiesAssist Chief Cook in the proper maintenance, inventory and operation of linen,pantry and locker storesIssue sundries and linens to officers and ratingsEnsure linen is properly launderedAssist in handling stores/provisionShow More We are looking for- Minimum of 12 months experience as Steward on ocean going vessels of relevant type/size. - Practical and theoretical knowledge with regards to: Operation of catering equipment Hygiene - Should have Working knowledge of spoken English. - Certificates compliant to STCW 2010 Manila amendments requirements. ,
