  • Role :Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents / requests.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : Working knowledge on Solaris 11 , Solaris 10 installation and configuration o Working knlowledge of virtualization with provisioning of LDOM and ZONE including knowledge of migration physical to physical , physical to virtual o Working knowlege in OS patchig using AI server in Solaris 11 o Knowledge and troubleshooting skills in service and SMF in Solaris o Knowledge of SVM and ZFS to configure different objects and use it and troubleshoot issues o Knowledge on SUN SPARC hardware platform, firmw
      • Technical Experience : o Candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience on Solaris System Administration in SUN SPARC and x86 platform o Troubleshooting and configuration knowledge at L2 level o In depth knowledge of all virtialization technologies and their use with steps in Solaris in different hardware platform where it can be used o In depth knowledge in managing storage , network , drivers and protocol properties in OS layer o Concept of SAN and use of it in distributed environment to achieve HA/DR o Good
      • Professional Attributes : Candidate should be flexible working in 247 support environment o Candidate should be comfortable working in Kolkata location o Knowledge of virtualization using vmware vsphere DCV and Systems Operations in AWS is a plus point o Certifications in Solaris Administration , RED HAT Enterprise Linux Adm
