Job Description

Systems Valley is recruiting talented and experienced software professional to join its development team. We are looking for creative, methodical, resourceful and passionate candidates who are willing to go beyond the call of duty. You should be comfortable in talking to international customers and understanding their requirements.The candidate must have a valid passport as the role may require you to travel to UK. You would be working on the development and support of key products and customer solutions. You would have the opportunity to work in a highly creative and innovative environment.The day-to-day responsibilities of the role would be split between:

  1. Application development mdash the primary focus of the work, coding applications primarily for Umbraco and/or Sitecore Content management systems.
  2. System design mdash working with other members of the team to design the underlying architecture of application solutions.
An industry competitive salary package will be offered to the successful applicant.QualificationsDesirable:
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications
  • IELTS score of 6.5 or above or equivalent
  • Relevant Umbraco Certifications
Preferred SkillsMandatory Requirements:
  • At least 4 yearrsquos relevant commercial experience developing websites or web application in asp.net using C#.
  • Should be educated to degree level in a Computer Science or related and applicable technical discipline.
  • Fluent and confident in spoken English, high-quality written English
  • Should have great proficiency in the following essential skills:
  • Commercial web application development with languages:
    • ASP.NET 4
    • C# - LINQ
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • HTML/CSS
    • JavaScript/jQuery
    • Ajax
  • 3 year(s) development experience with Sitecore and/or Umbraco CMS
  • Commercial understanding of best practice code design patterns (e.g. MVC)
  • Commercial understanding of underlying web protocols (e.g. HTTP)
