: Maintenance ManagerHuntsman is seeking a Maintenance Manager supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Los Angeles. This position will report to the Advanced Materials LA Site Lead.Job ScopeThe Maintenance Manager will manage and drive all maintenance and engineering activities at the site level oversees the sites capital projects, maintenance and facilities requirements, and maintenance staff through budgeting, planning, organizing and adherence to applicable QEHS requirements for the site. This position will report to the Site Manager and will be a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT).In summary, as the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for duties that may include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for providing strong technical guidance and leadership to maintenance and maintenance support staff, including skilled maintenance personnel with regards to safety, quality, efficiency and consistent application of best practices and policies.
• Directs the analysis of mechanical and operational problems on plant equipment, overseeing the planning and implementation of corrective action.
• Coordinates with internal and external Engineering staff when necessary to facilitate major project completions.
• Represents the companys position and interest in dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Prepares purchase requisitions for the acquisition of equipment and services as appropriate.
• Create, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance program of production including inspection of plant equipment and inventory replenishing system for parts.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, repair, facility maintenance, environmental, and building security issues are addressed on a timely and proactive basis.
• Ensure maintenance provides required support to ensure equipment is running at maximum efficiency.
• Initiate corrective, preventive and continuous improvement opportunities through defined/documented channels and actively participate in developing, implementing and verifying corrective and improvement actions.
• Control repair and maintenance spending within budget.
• Forecast repair and maintenance costs and ensure all activities stay within the approved budget.
• Oversee CMMS and spare parts program.
• Perform the responsibilities of the Site Capex Coordinator.
• Prepare scope, design and cost estimates for site-based Capex and Opex projects.
• Manage project cost forecasting and deliver timely on-budget execution of sanctioned projects.
• Utilize the project management systems to drive plant projects.
• Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
• If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required shift staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
• Assists other employees and site departments in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals.
• Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

• The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

• Maintenance Leadership background with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing process environment.
• Proven Leadership experience of both staff, contractors and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas or Energy environment is strongly preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience with mixing and blending and replace burner systems with pumps and mechanical seals. Filtration technologies, liquid/solids and gas/solids separations, gas burner systems, solids conveying systems a plus.
• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Strong demonstrated experience in RCA and CMMS.
• Previous experience managing significant budgets for maintenance and capital programs.

• Salary range $140,000-160,000 per year. The compensation range reflects the Companys reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of business-related factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training.
