Area Credit Manager-LAP

Job Description

• Underwriting & Assessment: Conduct in-depth financial analysis (income assessment, CIBIL checks, and balance sheet reviews) to determine loan eligibility and structure deals (typically for tickets up to (text{}3 text{ Crore})).
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of credit managers, overseeing day-to-day loan approvals and ensuring adherence to credit policies.
• Vendor & Collateral Management: Coordinate with legal and technical valuation vendors to ensure the propertys market value and legal titles meet company standards.
• TAT & SLA Management: Evaluate and process applications within agreed Turn Around Time (TAT) guidelines.
• Delinquency Management: Monitor Portfolio at Risk (PAR), track EMI bounce rates, and take corrective actions or analyze root causes of defaults.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure all credit decisions comply with internal risk guardrails and external regulations set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales (Business Development), Operations, and Legal teams to optimize returns and ensure smooth loan disbursement.
