Job Description

    Sales Head (FMCG)Reporting To: CEOExperience Required: 15 years in FMCG sales, with a proven track record infood product categories.Job SummaryThe Sales Head will be responsible forstrategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives to achieve businessgrowth and profitability for the organisation. This role requires a dynamicleader who can drive sales, build a high-performing team, and establish thecompanys products as market leaders.Key Responsibilities
      • Developand implement the monthly, quarterly & annual sales strategy alignedwith business objectives.
      • Define andachieve sales targets, revenue goals, and market share growth.
      • Build, mentor,and manage a high-performing sales team.
      • Set cleargoals, conduct regular performance reviews, and drive motivation withinthe team.
      • Conductmarket research to understand consumer behaviour, competition, andtrends.
      • Identifynew market opportunities and design strategies to capitalize on them.
      • Overseechannel sales (distributors, wholesalers, and retailers) and moderntrade.
      • Optimizechannel partnerships and negotiate favourable terms.
      • Prepareand manage sales budgets and forecasts.
      • Monitorexpenses and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
      • Build andmaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, includingdistributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
      • Collaboratewith the marketing team to design and implement sales campaigns andpromotional activities.
      • Ensureproper visibility and placement of products in the market.
      • Tracksales metrics and generate regular reports for senior management.
      • Usedata-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
