Sr. Electrical Design Engineer- EPC (Thermal Power Plant)Job descriptionBrief Role : Electrical Design Engineer- EPCJob DescriptionJD- 1 (Electrical Protection & Control Generator system)Work involves the preparation and review of documents in the area of work, and interfacing with Consultants, Vendors and Site teams.Years of relevant experience: 15- 20 yearsExperience requirement: Experience should be hands- on in preparation of:1. Key SLD, Protection & Metering SLD2. Design Basis Reports3. Sizing calculations / Equipment selection4. System studies using ETAP5. Protection, Synchronization, Control & Metering scheme drawings of Generators, Transformers, Switchgear, Switchyard, Reactors and Lines6. Networking architecture including IEC618507. Relay setting calculation and Parameterization8. Control interfaces with DDCMIS, EDMS, ECP9. Cable schedulesAreas of Expertise:Generators, Transformers, Switchgear, ReactorsProtection, Control, Networking of entire Power Plant, including Switchyard && LinesGenerator and auxiliaries, Excitation, Synchronisation, ESPJD- 2 (Switchyard Layouts)Work involves the preparation and review of documents in the area of work, and interfacing with Consultants, Vendors and Site teams.Years of relevant experience: 10- 20 yearsExperience requirement: Experience should be hands- on in preparation of:1. Switchyard EKD, Plan & Section and Clearance diagram in conformance to relevant standards2. Design of Switchyard Layout3. Key SLD, Protection & Metering SLD, DBR of Switchyard4. Sizing calculation / Equipment selection5. System studies including ETAP6. Sag Tension calculations, Structural loading7.
