Job Description

    Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Officer to oversee production operations in our worsted spinning department.Key Responsibilities:Production Planning and Scheduling: o Review daily production plans and ensure adherence to timelines.o Coordinate with the planning department to optimize production schedules.o Allocate resources (labor, machinery, raw materials) effectively.Quality Control: o Monitor spinning processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.o Conduct regular quality checks on yarn count, twist, evenness, and other parameters.o Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and resolve quality issues.Team Management: o Lead and supervise a team of spinning operators.o Provide training and guidance to team members.o Motivate and inspire the team to achieve production goals.o Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts promptly. Equipment Maintenance: o Ensure the proper functioning of spinning machinery and equipment.o Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.o Identify and implement improvements to equipment efficiency.Safety and Compliance: o Enforce safety regulations and guidelines.o Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.o Ensure compliance with standards.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, quality, and efficiency.o Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance.o Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering or diploma in a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in worsted yarn spinning.Technical Skills: o In-depth knowledge of worsted yarn spinning processes and machines for preparatory, spinning and post spinning.o Proficiency in operating spinning machinery and equipment.o Understanding of quality control techniques and standards for worsted yarn.
