Job Description

DearUrgent requirement for Store / Purchase Manager for Reputedsteel manufacturing company in mandi Gobindgarh (Punjab). candidate must have 10 years of experience in same profile can apply for this post.Store Management:
• Supervise daily store operations including material receipt, storage, and issuance.
• Maintain proper stock records, inventory control, and timely stock reconciliation.
• Ensure correct tagging, binning, and identification of all materials.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth material flow.
• Implement FIFO / LIFO systems and minimize material wastage.
Purchase Management:
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for raw materials, consumables, and machinery parts.
• Issue purchase orders, compare quotations, and negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production requirements.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain purchase documentation, invoices, and GST compliance records.
• Use ERP / Tally / MS Excel for material tracking and reporting.
Key Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of purchase & store operations in manufacturing.
• Good negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of steel materials and engineering goods preferred.
