Job Description Sales OfficerDepartment: Sales Job Title: Sales Officer Location: Chennai Age Criteria: 21 28 years CTC: 2.00 LPA 2.70 LPA Reporting To: Cluster Manager SalesRole SummaryThe Sales Officer will be responsible for sourcing home loan leads, building strong local networks, and supporting the end-to-end loan process from lead generation to documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Networking:
• Identify and build relationships with sourcing contacts such as:
  • Town Planning / Panchayat officials
  • Builders, contractors, and civil engineers
  • Hardware stores and construction material dealers
  • Local masons and petty contractors
  • Real estate developers and brokers
  • Sub-registrar office officials
Sales & Marketing Activities:
• Promote company products and schemes in commercial, industrial, and educational establishments
• Distribute brochures, pamphlets, and promotional materials
• Identify construction projects through field and direct sourcing
Customer Handling & Processing:
• Conduct initial screening of loan applications
• Collect and verify required documents using internal tools (Tab Application)
• Communicate in-principle approvals to customers
Coordination & Documentation:
• Coordinate with Cluster Manager for loan appraisal
• Complete pre-sanction and post-sanction documentation
• Communicate final approval and collect processing fees
Eligibility Criteria
• Qualification: Any Graduate
• Experience: 0 3 years
Required Skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Basic knowledge of home loans and mortgage processes
• Field sales experience (preferred)
• Customer-focused approach
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
