Role DescriptionAs a Data architect at Incedo, you will be responsible for designing and implementing big data platforms to support large-scale data integration projects. You will work with data architects and data engineers to define the platform architecture and build the necessary infrastructure. You will be skilled in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka and have experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of the big data platform and troubleshooting any issues that arise.Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Design: Create data models, data marts, and ETL processes/Data Pipelines
  • Data Governance: Create Data Governance models and implement with relevant tools.
  • Implement: Put data warehouses into action
  • Manage: Oversee data streams, data flows, and database performance
  • Optimize: Improve the usability, flexibility, and scalability of data warehouses
  • Secure: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Document: Create and maintain documentation of the data warehouse
  • Integrate: Connect new systems with existing warehouse structures
  • Evaluate: Assess current systems and infrastructure for efficacy
  • Update: Stay current with industry trends and best practices
Technical SkillsSkills Requirements:
  • Knowledge of database operations, programming, and query processes | DB Optimization
  • Experience with data modelling and data formats
  • Working knowledge of Alation
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders
  • Understanding of business requirements
  • Ability to design for scalability and reusability
  • Ability to optimize data models and warehouse architecture
  • Knowledge of databases/warehouses such as Snowflake, AWS RedShift, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres
  • Understanding of Big Data Technologies and trends
  • Knowledge of Banking Domain Must Have
Nice-to-have skillsQualifications
  • 11-12 years of work experience in relevant field
  • B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
