Role DescriptionRole Description:

1. Product Strategy and RoadmapDefine a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for credit card offerings.Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and prioritize product requirements, informed by customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Technical LeadershipWork closely with engineering teams to establish technical requirements, ensuring compatibility and scalability of credit card systems.Guide architecture design, API development, and data flow management to create efficient solutions.Serve as the go-to technical expert on credit card processing, billing, and transaction systems.
3. Delivery and ExecutionOversee the complete product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, maintaining focus on quality and timeliness.Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and ensure compliance with business requirements.Continuously monitor product performance to refine user experience and improve functionality based on data insights.
4. Stakeholder EngagementAct as a bridge between business, technical teams, and external vendors.Ensure alignment with compliance and risk management teams to adhere to regulatory and security protocols.Provide transparent updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and key milestones.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years in product management, particularly in credit card systems or financial services.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of credit card processing, billing systems, and the transaction lifecycle.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, and financial data flows.
  • Experience in working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Agile workflows.
• Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for various stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the Credit Card or Financial Services domain.
• Strong understanding of credit card processing, billing systems, and transaction lifecycle.
• Technical expertise with APIs, system integrations, and data flows in financial services.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Nice-to-have skills

• Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with credit card regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, EMV, or other compliance frameworks).
  • Experience working with payment networks (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) and fintech solutions.
  • Proven track record of launching successful credit card or financial products.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
