Role Description
  • Lead Wintel: management of Windows-based servers & platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of system administrators, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, task delegation, and performance management.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platforms
  • Optimizing cloud performance and resource allocation
  • Developing and implementing cloud security and access controls
  • Troubleshooting and resolving cloud issues
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior cloud administration specialists
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud administration
  • L3 support for Windows Server and AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DFSR, DNS, and DHCP, performing advanced troubleshooting.
  • Maintain server monitoring tools to enable proactive management of infrastructure.
  • Configured and maintained DNS, DHCP, and WINS for seamless network operations.
  • Diagnosed and resolved Windows Server and application-related issues efficiently.
  • Implemented and managed virtualized environments using Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Conducted system maintenance, including patch management, software upgrades, and security audits.
  • Manage SCCM & Azure update manager for patching, OS deployment, and software distribution across enterprise systems.
  • Client Escalation Management: Act as the point of contact for escalated client issues and complaints, working to resolve problems and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Oversee the resolution of service incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution. Investigate recurring problems, working with the technical teams to implement permanent solutions.
  • Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and azure security features
  • Develop automation scripts for deployment and management of Azure resources using tools like Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing applications and services
Technical Skills
  • Experience with cloud administration tools such as Azure Portal
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures such as IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies such as load balancers, auto-scaling, or containers.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Expertise in Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Intel-based server hardware, RAID configurations, BIOS settings, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Must understand the companys long-term vision and align with it.
  • Should be open to new ideas and be willing to learn and develop new skills.
  • Should also be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Nice-to-have skillsQualifications
  • 9-11 years of work experience in relevant field
  • B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
  • Certification required Azure [Az-104], MCSE, Terraform
