Role DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Application Lead to lead a technical team focused on delivering business-critical web applications and workflow solutions in the Wealth Management domain. This role demands strong leadership, deep technical expertise in Java and Spring Boot, and a proactive approach to stakeholder management. You will play a key role in understanding client requirements, shaping architecture, and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with business objectives.Technical Skills
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, understand client requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Architecture & Design: Design scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Java and Spring Boot. Guide the team in implementing business workflow solutions.
  • Project Execution: Plan and execute sprints in alignment with Agile methodologies. Ensure timely delivery of features with quality.
  • Solution Development: Participate in the development of complex modules, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure best coding practices are followed.
  • Documentation & Reviews: Conduct code reviews, maintain architectural documentation, and ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
  • Domain Expertise: Understand Wealth Management domain concepts to offer domain-aligned technical solutions.
Nice-to-have skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.
  • Experience in performance tuning and scalability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in application development and leadership roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with web application development and workflow solutions.
  • Experience designing application architecture for enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git), and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
