Role Description

1. Solution Design: Collaborate with IT PO, IT business analysts, and tech team leads, development teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution designs. This includes designing the overall architecture, integration points, data models, and security aspects of the software solution end-to-end (Qualtrics, Medallia, Salesforce, Snowflake, Redshift, AWS etc.). Assess new technologies and integration based on business needs.
2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Guiding and coaching especially all tech team leads ensuring that the chosen components are effectively utilized to meet the project objectives. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to the solution architecture.
3. Implementation Oversight: Work closely with the delivery leads, program scrum master and tech team leads to ensure the successful implementation of the solution architecture. Review and provide feedback on technical designs, code, and configurations to ensure alignment with the solution design and adherence to best practices.
4. Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to optimize the performance of the software solution in close collaboration with the Business Analyst. This may involve optimizing data storage/retrieval in Snowflake, configuring AWS services for scalability, or optimizing Qualtrics response data transfer.
5. Security and Compliance: Ensure that the software solution meets security and compliance requirements. Define and enforce security best practices, encryption standards, access controls, and data privacy measures. Collaborate with security teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide guidance and support to resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during the implementation and deployment of the software solution. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing software solutions leveraging Qualtrics, Medallia, AWS, and Snowflake components.
• Strong knowledge of QualtricsMedallia survey platform, including survey design, question types, response handling, and reporting capabilities.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation, and the ability to design scalable and resilient architectures using these services.
• Proficiency in Snowflake data platform, including data modeling, schema design, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps, and experience working in cross-functional development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in software solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
