Job Description

Position: Materials Program Manager, Product Manufacturing and Build ManagementLocation: Mexico (Remote eligible)Experience Level: MidAbout the RoleThis role requires on-site presence at the contractor manufacturer in Guadalajara three days per week. Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in material program management.
2 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.

Preferred Qualifications

6 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management (e.g., forecasting, fulfillment, reverse logistics).
Experience in bringing new products to market.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels.

Its your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.The Product Manufacturing and Build Management (PMBM) team is part of the Global Manufacturing Operations team within Cloud Supply Chain Operations (CSCO). We are responsible for optimizing and ensuring success of the manufacturing production for servers, machine learning, and networking equipment for Googles data centers. In this role, you will work with our agreement manufacturers to ensure that they are clear to build to enable on-time delivery for products. You will be optimizing the manufacturing plan, meeting customer schedules, exception management, and root cause analysis. You will work with Supply Planning, New Product Introduction (NPI), Logistics, and Manufacturing Engineering to oversee material execution for multiple Agreement Manufacturers that support Googles growing infrastructure. Drive material readiness for mass production builds through collaboration with agreement manufacturers, planning teams, and commodity managers.
Ensure smooth product transitions. Be the primary material liaison with Planning, NPI, and agreement manufacturers for product bring up and launch. Identify supply chain risks and mitigation steps to ensure material readiness from product goes into mass production and through end of life.
Communicate status, risks, and influence change. Drive initiatives and process improvements to help the team to become more scalable.
Develop processes to enable on-time delivery and mitigation across multiple Agreement Manufacturers in supply and labor constrained environments.
Manage projects from inception through completion. Ensure requirements are complete and scope is well defined with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
