Software Engineer II, Education and ActivationLocation: Mexico City, CDMX, MexicoMinimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C , Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with local stakeholders in this customer-facing role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with building products that use Large Language Model (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Experience with Google application building platforms.

We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Googles products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.Responsibilities

• Work with UX, PM, and engineering peers on prioritization, design, and implementation of platform and product features.
• Write design documents and provide feedback on teammates design documents.
• Help investigate and resolve production issues.
• Help shape the culture of the team and promote psychological safety.
