Job Description

: Technical Program Manager II, Fleet ManagementLocation: Mexico (Remote eligible)Experience Level: MidOverview:Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.Note:Please submit your resume in English - we can only consider applications submitted in this language.   • Bachelors degree in Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a formal account management, technical program management, client service or management consulting role.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams and customer bases.
  • Ability to travel 30 PERCENT of the time as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience engaging and managing vendor partnership/engagements, with a focus on Data Center operations/infrastructure.
  • Experience working within a complex organizational setting (e.g., PMO, geographic dispersion, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to present materials to a range of partners on both technical and non-technical matters.
  • Excellent communication, project, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in Data Center operations.

Building on this knowledge, you will develop technical solution proposals to meet those needs, provide input into long-range data center and equipment procurement processes, and project schedules. You will identify and mitigate project risks, and monitor and measure service performance for each customer. As the customers primary contact, you will manage ongoing transformation activities and ensure the long-term success of the account.   • Establish and maintain a position as an advisor and advocate for internal customers for services deployed in non-Google owned data centers.
  • Work with customer technical leads, executives, and partners to manage and deliver infrastructure solutions.
  • Become a trusted expert in data center infrastructure solutions, and provide effective operational and technical advice around these technologies.
  • Channel customers feedback to the delivery project management team to ensure excellent in-production experience.
  • Develop best practice recommendations based on experience gained during customer engagements.
