We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced applications for the Android platformCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWork with outside data sources and APIsProficiency in Kotlin and Android StudioExperience in using Agile project management tools such as JiraExperience in Networking with a restful APIExperience using profiling toolsExperience in using the Firebase suite of toolsUnderstanding Googles design principles, and always staying up to date with the latest changes to Googles submission guidelinesDebugging by using crash reports (i.e., Crashlytics)Experience with deploying applications to the Google Play StoreVersion control experience using Github, Bitbucket or any equivalentAbility to publish an application to different environments such as live, staging and pre-productionHave published at least one original Android appExperience with Android SDKExperience with third-party libraries and APIsWorking knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologiesSolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Knowledge in web technologies like Flutter(Required), API, XML, REST and JSON.
