Senior Data Engineer/ Data Engineer (ETL Data ModellingCloud )Location: Mohali, IndiaDate Posted: May 10, 2024DescriptionWe are looking for a Lead/Sr. ETL Engineer with 48 years of experience in ETL tools like SSIS, DataStage, Informatica, or Talend to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server, MYSQL, Oracle, Teradata, or DB2. Additionally, the candidate should possess a thorough understanding of Data Martingale, EDW methodologies, Data modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables.SkillsKey Skills

  • Experience in Reporting/Analytics (Tableau or PowerBI) tools shall be a plus.
  • Scripting and programming skills using python.
  • Good understanding and experience with cloud platforms and technologies such as AWS/Azure.
  • Help in recruitment, planning, estimation and execution.
  • Exposure to Sales and Marketing domains.
  • Self-starter, quick learner, problem-solver with a positive, collaborative, and team-based attitude.
  • Able to solve problems with data and to understand relevance to the wider objective.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Should have had experience of working with cross cultural teams at multi locations.
ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities
  • Delivery of high level and low-level design documents with middleware strategy, standards and adhering to ETL principles.
  • Working on one or multiple projects of varying complexity, undertaking the following activities, maintaining overall accountability for the work of the team in terms of quality and timeliness of delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Middleware Enterprise designs with functional and non-functional assessment for global implementations.
  • Design and design review of dependent programs.
  • Supporting and coaching.
  • Issue escalation.
  • Validation of plans and progress management.
  • QA of deliverables.
