Job Description

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on time.
    • Ensure GST-related documentation and records are accurately maintained.
    • Coordinate with the tax consultant for GST audits and assessments.
    • Reconcile GST payable/receivable accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable rates.
    • Ensure timely filing of TDS returns (Quarterly and Annual) and deposits.
    • Prepare TDS certificates (Form 16/16A) for employees and vendors.
    • Respond to TDS-related queries and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act.
    • Prepare financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
    • Ensure accuracy in month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation and filing.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
    • Maintain accurate records of banking transactions and ensure that all receipts and payments are reflected correctly.
    • Utilize ERP software to record, track, and report financial transactions.
    • Assist in the implementation and improvement of ERP processes.
    • Generate financial reports using ERP systems for management review.
    • Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot ERP-related issues.
    Qualification & Skills:
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and financial accounting.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
