Job Description

    Position Title: Accounts ManagerDepartment: Finance & AccountingLocation: KurlaReports To: Finance Director / Chief Financial OfficerExperience Required: Minimum 3 yearsJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounts Manager to join our growing team in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on managing financial operations and reporting in the automobile or related manufacturing sector. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and contributing to financial planning and analysis.Key Responsibilities:
    • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to senior management.
    • Accounts Management: Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, prepare cash forecasts, and manage banking relationships to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
    • Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank, supplier, and customer accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving them.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights on cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth.
    • Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and relevant regulations, and prepare for audits by external auditors.
    • Tax Management: Support in the preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
    • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
    • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to streamline accounting operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
    • Reporting to Management: Provide regular financial insights to the management team to aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Supplier & Customer Relations: Collaborate with the procurement and sales departments to ensure timely payments to suppliers and collections from customers.
    Key Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or professional accounting certifications such as CA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus).
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the automobile or manufacturing industry.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or any ERP system).
      • Strong MS Excel skills for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
      • Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to senior management and collaborating with other departments.
    • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills to manage complex financial data and transactions.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify financial discrepancies, resolve issues, and recommend solutions.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in the automobile manufacturing or sales industry.
