Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & Accounting:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
    • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
    • Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
    • Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
    • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
    Budgeting & Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the organization.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiencies.
    Taxation & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with GST, VAT, and other applicable tax regulations.
    • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for statutory audits and tax filings.
    • Keep updated with changes in financial regulations affecting the automobile industry.
    Credit Control & Vendor Management:
    • Monitor credit risk and manage receivables to ensure timely collections.
    • Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key suppliers.
    • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and payment terms.
    Team Management & Coordination:
    • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance executives.
    • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, service, and finance teams regarding invoicing, collections, and financial approvals.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
    Key Requirements:Education & Experience:
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance is preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in the automobile industry.
