Job Description

    Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Java, Selenium, Rest Assured)Location: Mumbai, India Experience: 3-5 yearsShift Timing-9 AM to 6 PMWork from OfficeWe are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating test cases for web applications using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our testing framework, improving the quality of our product, and ensuring the smooth delivery of software releases.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver for web applications.Automate API testing using Rest Assured and integrate it into the CI/CD pipeline.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application functionality and develop effective test strategies.Identify, record, and track bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.Perform regression testing to ensure no existing functionality is broken after new changes are introduced.Create and maintain automated test suites and reports.Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to enhance test coverage.Continuously improve the test automation framework, tools, and processes.Ensure testing is aligned with project timelines and deliverables.Required Skills & Experience:3-5 years of experience in Automation Testing with hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.Strong experience in API testing using Rest Assured.Good knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, and other testing frameworks.Hands-on experience in writing and executing automated scripts.Experience in working with version control systems (Git).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).Ability to document test results and generate reports.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Appium, etc.).Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.Experience with cloud-based testing tools and environments.Qualification:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.Relevant certifications in Java, Selenium, or Testing are a plus.
