Job Description

    We are pleased to share an exciting career opportunity at SBI Life Insurance for the role of Assistant Vice President Product Management.Role Purpose To facilitate new product development and manage existing products for SBI Life Insurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, timely launches, and sustained market competitiveness.Key Responsibilities:
    • IRDAI Filing Documents: Preparation and review of all IRDAI filing documents including Sales Literature, Policy Document, Proposal Form, Benefit Illustration, and other regulatory submissions. Coordination with stakeholders such as Actuarial, Compliance, Claims, and Operations teams.
    • Product Launch: Oversee launch activities including training (Train-the-Trainers), marketing collateral readiness, and system readiness (UAT sign-offs, premium/benefit values, calculators, web/app content).
    • New Product Ideas: Develop strategies to generate innovative life insurance products.
    • Data Analytics: Provide actionable insights to management and support product content/story creation.
    • Competition Benchmarking: Monitor and analyze competitor products to maintain SBI Lifes market edge.
    Candidate Profile:
    • 812 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in insurance product management handling IRDAI filings and product launches.
    • Experience in Life Insurance Product Management preferred.
    Critical Competencies:
    • In-depth understanding of IRDAI Product Regulations for Life & Health Insurance.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
    Key Interactions:
    • Actuarial, Training, Operations, Compliance, IT, and Sales teams.
    Measures of Success:
    • Timely delivery and completion of filing, launch, and maintenance activities.
    • Successful product launches.
    • Ability to handle cross-functional discussions and resolve issues.
