Job Description

    1. Biomarker Discovery and Validation:Lead research efforts to identify potential biomarkers for clinical applications. Validate their clinical utility in different disease contexts and ensure their reproducibility across multiple studies.
    2. Research and Data Analysis:Conduct laboratory experiments and utilize cutting-edge technologies to analyze high-throughput biological data. Interpret the results, providing insights into potential therapeutic targets or diagnostic applications.
    3. Collaboration with Clinical Teams:Partner with clinicians and researchers to design and implement biomarker-related studies, including patient sample collection, data analysis, and clinical interpretation.
    4. Technology Development:Develop and optimize assays or platforms for biomarker detection and quantification, such as ELISA, PCR, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), to ensure accuracy and efficiency in biomarker discovery.
    5. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for biomarker qualification, including preparing documentation for submission to regulatory bodies like the FDA, EMA, and other local regulatory authorities.
    6. Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with drug development, diagnostics, and R&D teams to integrate biomarkers into preclinical and clinical programs. Support the advancement of biomarkers through the drug discovery pipeline.
    7. Publication and Reporting:Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, present data at scientific conferences, and provide regular reports to stakeholders on the progress and results of biomarker-related projects.
    8. Quality Control and Assurance:Monitor the integrity and reliability of data generated in biomarker analysis, maintaining rigorous quality control procedures throughout the research process.
    9. Translational Research:Translate basic research findings into clinical applications by identifying biomarkers that can be used for diagnostic purposes or to support therapeutic decision-making.
    10. Budget and Resource Management:Manage the research budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of biomarker discovery and validation projects. Align projects with organizational goals and objectives.
