Job Description

    Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
    • Plan, organize, and control the workflow to ensure efficient and timely vehicle repairs.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as repair turnaround times, quality standards, and customer satisfaction scores.
    • Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards in the bodyshop.
    Team Leadership and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop bodyshop staff, including technicians, estimators, and support personnel.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale.
    Customer Service
    • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide updates on repair progress.
    • Handle escalations or complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure all work meets customer expectations and industry quality standards.
    Financial and Resource Management
    • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and manage the departments profitability.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for cost-effective procurement of materials and tools.
    • Optimize resource utilization, including labor, equipment, and materials.
    Compliance and Standards
    • Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Manage warranty claims and ensure proper documentation for insurance-related repairs.
