Job Description

    Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecution on client engagement Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements Assist in implementation of audit programme and supervise day to day audit staff activitiesScrutinize the audit findings observed by audit staff during their audits. Finalization of draft audit reports after interacting and taking response from the immediate AuditeeReview of working papers and client folders. Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service.Understand business & industry issues / trends. Identify areas requiring improvement in the clients business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures.Ability to handle multiple clients at the same time, understanding clients requirements, responding promptly to client requests and enquiries and consistently meeting client needsPossess excellent communication and report writing skillsShould be able to use/ apply tools (i.e. MS Excel, MS word, Power point, etc.) and audit techniques (e.g. sampling)Leading teams to complete the assignments within defined time frame and budgetsAwareness of internal auditing standards issued by IIA and ICAI.Demonstrate an application & solution-based approach to problem solving technique.Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.Develop strong working relationships with clients (process owner/functional heads).Attention to detail and mentor young interns and analysts within the practice.Contribute to knowledge management sessions within the practice.Knowledge enhancement, good documentation and audit support.Competency Good knowledge of accounting and auditSteady nature and patienceAble to grasp the things quicklyTeamwork and Cooperation / Communication / Safety conscious / Discipline / curiosity / supervisionDependability / Care of company assets and propertyLocation: Mumbai also includes outstation travels.Note: Preference to candidates who are ready for immediate joining
