Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Portfolio of creative including UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications.
  • 5 years of experience in a Creative/User Experience (UX) Design role.
  • Experience with Material design principles and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with, or knowledge of, Interactive cross-platform prototyping (e.g., Framer, ProtoPie.io, Flinto). Experience with UX and design tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Adobe suite).
  • Experience in 3D design and animation (e.g., cinema4D, after effects). Experience with the latest product design principles (e.g., Assistant, Conversation Design, AR).
  • Ability to creatively problem solve beyond user experience challenges.
  • Ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively, across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work.
  • Effective communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

As an Interactive Producer for the Zoo, you use Google platforms like YouTube, Mobile and Display to deliver advertising programs in a big way. You are responsible for everything from concept to production. Making use of your outstanding communication, organizational and project-management skills, you work closely with vendors, clients, partners, and other internal teams. Whether spearheading the design of a new prototype for a pitch or making use of new technology for a YouTube live stream, this role requires a passion for creative innovation. With so many pieces in motion, its essential that you have the ability to manage multiple complex projects with hard deadlines and material risks.

In this role, you ll be working at the intersection of conceptual creativity, design, and technology, ideating, prototyping, and executing concepts. As a Creative/UX Designer, youll use data and work with other specialists to translate insights into practical prototypes and experiments. Finally, youll form working relationships with product management and engineers and demonstrate excellent skills as a visual communicator who understands India s tech and cultural landscape.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Googles complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and UX designs. Lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, devices, and brands.
  • Build relationships and operating rhythms with members inside and outside their core product team to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed.
  • Foster Google s culture and principles within the group, while setting new standards in executional and operational excellence.
  • Be responsible and effectively advocate for users and the end experience in a fast-paced, innovative climate, imparting day-to-day design and creative leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the user-centric intersection between Design, Content, Business, and Engineering groups.
