Job Description

Department : GTS Job Purpose :

  • To support Relationship Management teams in the following activities,
  • Preparation and submission of Unbanked Client Credit Memos to Credit Risk Team.
  • Address Credit Risk queries and ensure good quality CAM to enable Credit Risk take an informed decision.
  • Coordinate with IBG 1/2 RMs pan India on addressing credit queries pertaining to memos put up under bank s Industry ARP agenda; interact with clients as and when needed to strengthen credit proposal.
  • Highlighting any early warning signs of the portfolio to the RMs
  • Drive Industry ARP Agenda of the Bank along with the SCF Head and work closely with the IBG 3 RMs on ARP opportunities identified within their portfolio and converting them.
Manage the existing portfolio of all clients for the designated relationship teams under Big2 Small ARP initiative and help the team in detecting early warning signals in these names. Key Accountabilities : To prepare accurate credit proposals in a consistent, concise and lucid manner.To maintain close working relationship with Business Unit to ensure that IBG deliverables are met.Need-based meeting with customers to understand business and attendant risks.To monitor portfolio for irregularities/ excesses/ breaches/ delays.Ensure all regulatory reporting & compliances are enforced. Ensure assistance to external & internal audits .Control the quality of the portfolio, using available triggers and adherence to Risk management guidelines and policies.Monitor and ensure adherence to risk service standards. Job Duties & Responsibilities : Preparing spreads which are consistent, error-free and in line with classification parameters used in DBS.Providing concise and relevant financial analysis by clearly identifying risks.Ensure reviews are completed prior to due date and are error free.Interact and follow up with clients on required information and clarifications.Adhere to the risk management guidelines of DBS, MAS and RBI.Ensuring that irregularities/ excesses in the portfolio are kept within control. Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of industry sectors within the customer portfolio.Control and manage the risk profile for the overall portfolio; help develop business by deep diving/market mapping of sectors where bank is comfortable to take additional exposures.Manage performance against key financial (risk-adjusted contribution) sales, service and operational targets. Required Experience : Overall 2-4 years of experience in CAM writing.Experience in trade finance would be added advantageKnowledge of competitors and market and ARP structures being offered by peer banks in the market. Education : An MBA or CA with relevant number of years of experience in Corporate Banking,
