Job Description

    Company: Leading BankRole: Credit Audit - Retail SME / Working Capital Location: MumbaiObjective-Primarily responsible for Credit audits ofMid corporate/Working capital Business and provide support to audits of all other Business / Functions.Responsibilities-
    • Lead/ Oversee audits of the Credit function. Credit audits will cover customers across the Wholesale/Retail working capital Banking segments. Such audits will cover both pre and post-disbursement policies & procedures.
    • Plan, design and implement risk-based audit plans to ensure the safety and soundness of the Bank.
    • Oversee Concurrent Audit Process.
    • Ensure completion of assigned audits and documentation of work papers on time.
    • Track the status of issues reported.
    • Assist in keeping relevant processes benchmarked to Best Practices and peer banks.
    • Assist in keeping the Audit Procedure Manual and checklists updated.
    • Devise audit checklists for the use of internal/concurrent Auditors and test processes/procedures to foresee pitfalls and bottlenecks and ensure these are audited/resolved.
    • To provide suggestions for improvement to existing process/systems to line management.
    Qualification, Background and Competencies-
    • Chartered Accountant/MBA(Finance).
    • Expert knowledge of Credit Policies & Procedures covering both pre & post disbursement aspects.
    • Expert knowledge of bank audit procedures.
    • Hands-on experience of Credit audit/underwriting of approximately 4years in operational.
    • Possess sound product knowledge of all other areas of banking, including regulatory requirements.
