Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be responsible for manning of all Tanker Vessels as per stipulated Maersk Tankers procedures and guidelines along with responsibility of the overall Vessel Operations and tasks related to embarkation and disembarkation of the seafarers.

Additional Responsibilities include -

  • Dealing with day to day Crewing queries, training and overview of all team members to ensure the responsibilities assigned are being carried out as per the guidelines
  • Identify areas of process improvement and responsible for implementation of changes strategies as per Maersk Tankers crewing management
  • Regularly update OCIMF & Q88 Matrix, brief new joiners prior to their joining and getting necessary voucher approvals, DA for payments
  • Liaise with Vessels regarding the relief schedules and deciding where relief s can be carried out
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining monthly reporting on all the activities and maintain an effective cost control records of all activities

What we are looking for

An ideal candidate should be an analytical person with a proven history of delivering results despite issues and pressure with below abilities -

  • 2 years of experience as a Crew Operations Manager. Sea Faring background will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, having personal motivation and a strategic mind-set
  • Possess good English communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to work with multiple stake holders
  • Ability to analyse detailed information and organise data and information clearly
