Job Description

    A Reputed Manufacturing Company for FIBC Plastic offers a Position of Export ExecutiveLocation Lower ParelJob SummaryThis role is responsible for ensuring shipment of goods in the shortest possible time from the date of readiness, in coordination with the freight forwarders.Working RelationshipsInternal Purpose-Export - For planning availability of container and vessel schedule based on readiness of goods.Key Authorities (Decision making/ organizational structural changes/ contract finalizations)Sea Freight and Air Freight approvalKey Responsibilities and TasksExport
    • Taking delivery schedule from various manufacturing sites and planning shipment schedule.
    • Ensuring competitive rates for sea freight / air freight.
    • Tracking shipments and keeping S&M team updated on the shipment status.
    • Keeping track of the progress of shipment and ensuring timely escalation of unresolved issues to the S&M team.
    • Attending to queries, collecting feedback and use the information for improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
    Co-ordination and Documentation
    • For shipments to other countries, coordinating with pre-shipment inspection agencies, including issuance of CRI.
    • Completing post shipment formalities in timebound manner (Shipment documents)
    • Preparation of export documents, including LC negotiations.
    Special physical, psychological and work life balance demands of the role if anyThe profile may require extensive interaction and coordination. The profile would require the employee to be available to attend customer queries and support internal teams with relevant information on continual basis. Requires precision, accuracy, and consistency in work.Competency Requirements
    • Educational Qualifications/Exp.:
    • Any Graduate with minimum 10- 12 years of experience
    • Good knowledge of sourcing CHA knowledge of ERP
