Job Description

    Job Role : Staff NurseLocation : Kandivali, MumbaiExperience : 1 to 2 yearsShift: RotationalJob Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse with a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certification to provide high-quality patient care. The Staff Nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver direct patient care, assist in patient recovery, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role requires effective communication, clinical skills, and adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Patient Care:
      • Provide comprehensive care to patients, including basic hygiene, dressing changes, and patient mobility.
      • Monitor patient vitals and observe any changes in health conditions, reporting promptly to senior healthcare providers.
    2. Clinical Duties:
      • Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy as per physician instructions and organizational protocols.
      • Perform routine diagnostic tests (e.g., blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose checks).
      • Prepare and assist during medical procedures and surgeries.
    3. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
      • Accurately document patient information, including health history, assessments, and medication administration.
      • Maintain updated and confidential patient records as per hospital policies and legal requirements.
    4. Communication and Patient Education:
      • Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans, health education, and discharge instructions.
      • Provide empathetic and patient-centered care, ensuring patient comfort and addressing any concerns.
    5. Coordination and Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to provide holistic care.
      • Participate in daily shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of patient status and treatment progress.
    6. Infection Control and Safety:
      • Adhere to infection prevention protocols and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
      • Ensure proper handling of medical waste and follow safety guidelines to prevent injury and infection.
    7. Emergency Response:
      • Respond quickly to emergencies, provide first aid, and assist in resuscitation as needed.
      • Be prepared to act in critical situations, maintaining calmness and following emergency protocols.
    Qualifications:
    • Skills
    Proficiency in patient care, clinical procedures, and electronic health record systems,GNM Certification is must.
