Job Description

    Urgent job opening for Head of E-Commerce Division at Andheri East.Department: E-CommerceReports To: Managing Director, General ManagerPosition Overview:We are in search of an experienced Head for our E-Commerce Division who has a rich background in product development and a deep understanding of beauty, aromatherapy, essential oils, personal care, gifting, and home care products. This role is instrumental in establishing our new e-commerce division, guiding product development, overseeing procurement, and driving both operational excellence and profitability.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership: - Set and implement the strategic vision for the e-commerce division. - Align e-commerce objectives with the companys overall business goals. - Monitor e-commerce and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.2. Product Development: - Collaborate closely with the product development team to guide the creation of innovative products. - Leverage expertise in beauty, aromatherapy, essential oils, and related categories to ensure product relevance and appeal. - Gather consumer insights and feedback to inform product enhancements and launches.3. Operational Oversight: - Direct daily e-commerce operations, including platform management, order processing, and customer service. - Oversee inventory management, optimizing stock levels and turnover.4. Procurement & Supply Chain: - Lead procurement strategies, fostering relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts. - Collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance logistics and reduce operational costs.5. Sales & Turnover: - Develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth in turnover and profitability. - Monitor sales performance indicators and adjust strategies in response to market dynamics.6. Team Building & Management: - Assess staffing needs, spearheading recruitment and team development. - Mentor and oversee a high-performing e-commerce team. - Cultivate a collaborative and innovative work environment.7. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Engage with internal teams, vendors, and third-party providers to optimize platform functionality and product offerings.Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in e-commerce, specifically within beauty, aromatherapy, essential oils, personal care, gifting, and home care products.
    • Demonstrable experience in product development and e-commerce scaling.
    • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies.
    • Strong leadership, procurement, and sales management skills.
    • Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or related. Masters preferred.
