Job Description

    Designation : General Manager - Head of Financial Planning & Analysis Reporting to : VP Head- Corporate Financial Planning and AnalysisLocation : Mumbai Purpose Develop and support implementation of the operating and financial plan required to achieve management s strategic plan. This role will work with across the Mahindra s businesses at the Group level. Key Responsibilities :
    • Broad understanding of business challenges and the impact on the company s financial position; financial analysis, growth impact and project-based work
    • Provide insights on managing investments, new capital funding requirement in line with the wider Group targets and individual business aspirations
    • Drive, Lead or Support businesses to implement new/ improve financial control processes, systems and policies
    • Work with key stakeholders to develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, operating forecast and other analysis
    • Support the Senior Leadership Team with data-driven analysis and act as a sounding board when making commercial decisions and formulating strategy;
    • Thorough understanding of the group s cash-flow position, including cash forecasting, reporting and strategies for improving working capital;
    • Detailed understanding and review of PL, BS and CF to provide insights as required
    • Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives incl new business plans;
    • Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements, including standardization, enhancement and potential automation of existing processes and systems for across the Group.
    • Promotes best practices over financial and non-financial information across the accounting organization
    • Engage with auditors and businesses for impairment analysis for accounting standard compliance
    • Lead and support capital allocation discussions, short term road map and a medium term 3 year road map for financials and growth
    Requirements:
    • Multiple sectors/ industries experience preferred
    • Experience in business partnering and delivering highly complex projects in various areas in finance
    • Track record of delivering value added financial reporting that supports decision making;
    • Strong Analytical skills
    • M&A basic working analysis and knowledge ;
    • Business planning;
    • Forecasting and budgeting;
    Person Profile TWE : MBA (with an inclination to understand accounting)/ CA with 12 to 15 years of experience in all areas of Finance. ,
