Job Description

    Hiring HR Compliance for Manufacturing Company Location- Mumbai Educational Background: MLW / MSW / MPM / LLB / LLM Experience: Typically, 15 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles, with at least 35 years in a leadership position. Should have an experience of handling labour laws in manufacturing experience. Key Responsibilities:Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Adherence
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws such as Factories Act, Shops and Establishments Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Maternity Benefit Act, etc.
    • Manage timely filing of returns and remittances for PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and other statutory payments.
    • Stay updated on amendments to labor laws and ensure implementation within the organization.
    • Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to mitigate legal risks.
    Payroll Compliance
    • Ensure accurate deduction and timely payment of Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Income Tax (TDS), and other deductions.
    • Coordinate with finance and payroll teams for proper statutory filings.
    Employee Documentation & Record Keeping
    • Maintain statutory records such as attendance registers, leave records, accident registers, and wage registers as per labor law guidelines.
    • Ensure proper issuance of appointment letters, salary slips, Form 16, and other compliance-related documents.
    Liaison with Government Authorities
    • Coordinate with labor officers, PF, and ESI authorities for inspections, audits, and legal matters.
    • Respond to government notices and ensure compliance with inspection reports.
    Compliance Audits & Risk Management
    • Conduct regular internal audits to check compliance adherence.
    • Ensure documentation is in place for legal proceedings or labor law inspections.
    Key Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance regulations, and government statutory norms.
    • Experience in handling PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and other compliance aspects.
    • Proficiency in payroll compliance and HRMS software.
    • Excellent communication and liaison skills.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilit
    Qualification and Experience:
    • Educational Background: MLW / MSW / MPM / LLB / LLM
    • Experience: Typically, 15 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles, with at least 35 years in a leadership position. Should have an experience of handling labour laws in manufacturing experience.
    • Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory environments related to the manufacturing & Shops & Establishment, including knowledge of applicable laws and best practices.
    • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • High ethical standards and an ability to promote compliance culture.
    • Leadership abilities to work with different stakeholders.
