Job Description

    Underwriting & Policy ManagementAnalyze and assess insurance applications for automobile policies, evaluating the risk factors and underwriting guidelines.Prepare and issue quotes for clients based on underwriting criteria.Review existing policies to ensure they remain in compliance with current regulations and market conditions.Renew automobile insurance policies, adjusting premiums based on risk assessments and market trends.Claims ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for customers regarding claims related to automobile accidents, damage, theft, or loss.Facilitate the claims process, ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and fairly.Investigate claims, gather necessary documentation, and liaise with adjusters and investigators as needed.Monitor the settlement process to ensure claims are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.Customer Service & Relationship ManagementProvide support and advice to clients regarding insurance coverage options, policy modifications, and general inquiries.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.Resolve customer complaints or concerns related to policy coverage, claims, and premiums.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all insurance policies and practices comply with local, state, and national insurance regulations.Keep up-to-date with changes in the insurance industry, especially as it pertains to the automobile sector.Assist with audits and other compliance activities as necessary.Market Analysis & Product DevelopmentConduct market research to identify new opportunities in the automobile insurance sector.Provide feedback on trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to help shape new product offerings.Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote new policies and offerings to customers.Risk ManagementAnalyze potential risks associated with various automobile insurance policies.Help develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk for both clients and the insurance provider.Educate customers on risk-reducing measures to lower premiums or improve policy terms.Collaboration with InsurersLiaise with insurance providers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage options.Manage relationships with external insurance partners, brokers, and adjusters to ensure smooth operations.
